Our story is about one of the most mystical of all beasts - the UNICORN! We hope you enjoyed our interesting facts about unicorns, and the nursery rhyme we told:
The lion and the unicorn
Were fighting for the crown
The unicorn beat the lion
All around the town.
Some gave them white bread,
And some gave them brown;
Some gave them plum cake
and drummed them out of town.
When Emily was younger, she read a beautiful book by Marianna Mayer, which drew on the ancient myths of the Unicorn and Serpent story. You find a link to this lovely text HERE.
